Thousands of well-wishers descended on Buckingham Palace on Monday night
 to celebrate the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby boy.

Many tried to glimpse a formal bulletin announcing the 16:24 BST
 delivery of the baby, who weighed 8lb 6oz.

The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery and Honourable Artillery Company 
will fire gun salutes in London later.

Prince William said the couple "could not be happier". 
Kensington Palace said the baby would be named in due course.

The duke stayed with Catherine and the new arrival 
- the third in line to the throne - overnight at the private Lindo Wing 
of St Mary's Hospital, west London.

 how long the baby would be kept in.

Some 30 people, led by Perkasa president Ibrahim Ali, submitted a protest note to the embassy of the Holy See in Kuala Lumpur, demanding that the Vatican appoint a new envoy to Malaysia.

Speaking to media later, Ibrahim clarified that they were not demanding the embassy closure.

“I would like to pronounce that Marino (below) is a persona non grata... in Malaysia, he’s not wanted and he should leave Malaysia.

“As far as I’m concern, he is an enemy of the state. We are demanding his departure but not the embassy’s closure. We want the Vatican to appoint a new one (envoy),” he said.

Have these two Ali’s and their cohorts gone too far? Are they attempting to push Malaysian Christians to the wall?

Unfortunately, the leaders who should be doing something about these extremists in our midst are doing nothing. Worse, some seemed to be supporting these undesirable elements.

So what should we, as responsible citizens, do about it?

(1) Do nothing and let the issue blow over. Join the Beatles and sing ‘Let it Be’

(2) Be very Christian and “forgive them for they know not what they do” and “love our enemies as ourselves”.

(3) Fight back. Lodge police reports, send protest memos to the government etc

(4) Wait patiently and pray that Najib might see the light and take the appropriate action

You decide what you want to do. Just don’t stand idle.

Brown eyes and blue eyes Racism experiment on children!

This is evidence that discrimination is taught, do you think that a newborn infant is naturally racist against another race of people unless he or she lives under discriminative conditions and racist experiences from their authorities and families.



This was a test to show the students what it feels like to be discriminated against, Ms. Jane Elliott didn't teach the students to discriminate others but that was presumed by the children.

The point was to illustrate to these children that it feels bad when you are judged and discriminated against on the basis of arbitrary factors beyond your control. They were all best friends again at the end of the video.

 I would look so stupid to society if I were to say to someone, "I do not associate with people that have blue eyes," or "brown eyes."

 What it also suggest is  that people can be socially engineered on a vast scale, which also begs the question… who we really are and how susceptible are we to propaganda?

Children  who played along together for minimum a half year- until the teacher posted new instructions or orders... It can also illustrate what the power of leadership can do -  can be - destructive as well as constructive.

Since the vast majority of our understanding (passed down) comes from various institutions of information, be it in education, in the media or in politics. It can be abused into a form of Institutional brainwashing when it is used prejudicially.

So who is to blame for not teaching the kids  that ethno-chauvinism/masochism  are detrimental to the interests of their people and society ?

We need an  alliance of rational ,systematic and critical  thinking based on principled sincerities.  An applied wisdom along the lines of  humanity ,  making a   collective decision and it has to be a good one to.

 Because that's how we can  breach the mental bullies that way- And it will be  nice for us all to be friends together again.

    Teach your kids well....... after a brief contemplation of- your reflection in your mirror !! That is where it starts.!

"She is improving. But she is still unconscious," a regional Pakistani official told the Associated Press. "I can't say a final word about her condition. A board of doctors is constantly examining her condition."

A senior Pakistani official later told CBS News that Malala was "semi-conscious," and had shown some level of response to doctors.

 Headlines in newspapers across Pakistan denounced the shooting on Wednesday, and politicians jumped on the bandwagon. The chief of the army called the attackers "cowards".

The Taliban came for Malala as she boarded a bus to go home from school. The gunman sought her out and shot her in the head and neck and wounded two other girls.

Malala Yousafzai  is a Pakistani school pupil and education activist from the town of Mingora in the Swat District of Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. She is known for her education and women's rights activism in the Swat Valley, where the Taliban had at times banned girls from attending school. In early 2009, at the age of 11–12, Malala  wrote a blog under a pseudonym for the BBC detailing her life under Taliban rule, their attempts to take control of the valley, and her views on promoting education for girls. The following summer, a New York Times documentary was filmed about her life as the Pakistani military intervened in the region, culminating in the Second Battle of Swat. Yousafzai began to rise in prominence, giving interviews in print and on television  and taking a position as chairperson of the District Child Assembly Swat. She has since been nominated for the International Children's Peace Prize by Desmond Tutu and the Nobel Peace Prize, being the youngest nominee in history for the latter.She is the winner of Pakistan's first National Youth Peace Prize

On 9 October 2012, Yousafzai was shot in the head and neck in an assassination attempt by Taliban gunmen while returning home on a school bus.In the days immediately following the attack, she remained unconscious and in critical condition, but later her condition improved enough for her to be sent to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham in the United Kingdom for intensive rehabilitation. if he wasn't a priest , it will be taken as statement from a rational minded wise person, and also what many in the country think as well , on both sides of the religious divide , except many are afraid to voice it out worried about getting hung out to dry...(he is a catholic priest, for goodness sake , not a foreign diplomat here to promote bilateral trade ) 

Besides saying the local churches presenting “logical and acceptable” argument he also stated that the ongoing appeal was an “internal matter” when asked to comment further on the dispute. That's inferring 
in effect he didn't wish to get involved in a domestic quarrel but just airing his views as a individual in his personal capacity as a learned clergy. 

Seems like neutral diplomatic double speak. Yet no one points this out,b4 this madness gets out of hand and the cycle keeps repeating itself on a unending slug fest.Christian bashing n punch back blow for blow.


My say...
Most people believe that everyone has a degree of wisdom, innate or spiritual wisdom, some have a lot of it, some a little, some almost none .but nonetheless everyone also believes that no matter how much we have, we can always use more of it… 

In religion it is an absolute , either you are wise or you are foolish, time and again we come across descriptions saying the wise person did this or said that and the foolish person did or remarked so and so.
More simply, either you are wise or you are not.. 


In the religious sense , using wisdom is an imperative command from God , it is not an option but a requirement.. 


And judging from the responses to this Allah issue . Is it really beyond solution or definitive depiction ? Is wisdom or foolishness being applied in the response to this highly sensitive issue that can rip apart the fabric of our close- knit society?

Never has there been a more dire need of wisdom to ensure that religious bigotry and racial strife will not be played up to intense xenophohic levels .

More than 60 per cent of the country’s Christians, believed to number just under 2.8 million, are Malay-speaking Bumiputeras from Sabah and Sarawak.
 July 3 — An evangelical church group is now being investigated for posting a Facebook message urging Christians to pray for the blessings of “Allah”, a word still in the center of a tug-of-war battle that has been threatening religious harmony in multiracial Malaysia.

Selangor PAS commissioner Dr Abd Rani Osman confirmed with The Malay Mail Online yesterday that the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) is investigating the National Evangelical Christian Fellowship of Malaysia (NECF), despite the state government’s earlier attempt at intervention.

Vatican backs Christian Malaysians’ right to ‘Allah’ as logical -

PETALING JAYA, July 11 — The Vatican expressed support today for the right of Christian Malaysians to use “Allah” to call their god, but said that the ongoing row with Muslims here was a dispute between the local Catholic Church and the government.

In his first media interview here, the Vatican’s first envoy to Malaysia, Archbishop Joseph Marino (picture), observed that the “Allah” storm that has been raging here for the past five years was unique to this Southeast Asian nation due to the widespread use of the Malay language, the lingua franca of Malaysia’s Bumiputera Christians.

He indicated that the local churches have presented a “logical and acceptable” argument to counter the allegations by some hardline Muslims here that “Allah”, a word of Middle Eastern origin, was exclusive to Islam.

“But the document that they produce seems to be very well-presented in terms of explaining why Christians use this word,” the apostolic nuncio said, referring to the Christian Federation of Malaysia’s (CFM) fact sheet on the “Allah” released a couple of months ago.

But Marino carefully pointed out that the ongoing appeal by the Home Ministry to reverse a 2009 High Court judgment in favour of the Catholic Church was an “internal matter” when asked to comment further on the dispute.

Here is a brief view to ponder on why  ALLAH is not an exclusive word for malay/muslims to refer to God.

Hence is there only one Rabb or many Rabbs? And if there were only one Rabb then the Christians would share the Rabb of the Muslims. And since we have only one Rabb and we all share the same Rabb and this Rabb is called Allah then the Rabb of the Christians is also called Allah.

How will the court rule regarding the ‘Allah’ word issue? I really don’t know but one thing I do know is that it can never be resolved. And it can never be resolved because we are using man-made laws to try to resolve what many perceive as God’s laws. And the ‘Father Lord’ and ‘Mother Justice’ are in conflict about the meaning of justice.

      Rabb is also  an Arabic word meaning Lord, Sustainer, Cherisher, Master, which in Islamic context refers to Allah.- In the Qur'an Rabb is one of the usual Names of God . Yet the literal meaning of the word is Sustainer and Master, and if in that sense, a man is the "rabb" of his house. Notice also how similar sounding it is to the hebrew RABBI which may have same etymology.

  The dispute between Christianity and Islam lies in the doctrine of the Trinity,- Father , Son and Holy Spirit as one Godhead and the resurrection- .that Islam counters never happpened- but only acknowledges Jesus as a prophet . Muslim scholars will vehemently brush the doctrine of christian beliefs and teachings aside , no such thing as the Son of God or Holy spirit . Despite that the Arabic terms for the holy Trinity are Allah al-ab meaning God the Father, Allah al-ibn mean God the Son, and Allah al-ru? al-quds, meaning God the Holy Spirit and their term for Jesus is usually Yasu not the muslim reference” ISA”..

Arabic-speakers of all Abrahamic faiths, including Christians and Jews, have been using the word “Allah” to mean “God” Christian Arabs of today have no other word for “God” than “Allah” and have been using without protestation even in that volatile religious region. Also the Arabic-descended Maltese language of Malta, population almost entirely Roman Catholic, uses Alla for “God”.
So , for Malaysia to claim exclusivity for the term “ALLAH” to be used only in the Islamic context,dare I say, seems a bit arrogant if not Xeno phobic or Xeno manic..(if there is such a word).
Was at  church that had  invited a guest pastor who has been servicing the Indonesian Christians for close to a decade , and when he prayed for the congregation, he chosed to pray in Bahasa Indonesia and whenever invoking the Almighty’s name, ALLAH was used, not intentional but second nature to him .
 Hence ,with respect, the Malaysian Malays are in default Muslims,but my question will be , is it possible for a race or language to claim exclusive ownership to a word in reference to the Almighty.?

We sorely need applied wisdom in the delicate handling of this issue that can only be resolved if there is a genuine attempt for an interfaith dialogue among the religious authorities of all faiths.
But so far, impression is that there is stubborn resistance to knowledge about the issue among the faithful , adhering religiously to teachings and be easily outraged at a perceived challenge to their faith - selectively .hearing only what they want to hear that can rile up their passions in defence..
  Resolution can only come via understanding which no one seems to be eager to promote - anxious in jeopardising own self vested interest or incurring the wrath of many.!

Now, when we talk about ‘a clash of opposing ideologies’ in these many Muslim countries, you may be wondering whether we are talking about political ideology or religious ideology. And this is where not only the non-Muslims but also the Muslims themselves do not comprehend the ‘real’ Islam.

There is no such thing as a separate political and religious ideology. There is no separation of church and state in Islam. Islam is not a religion. It is a political structure, as what Anwar Ibrahim is fond of saying: Islam is anadeen or way of life.

Hence, while the Muslim population of Malaysia may be majority Muslim, it is still not large enough for Islam to dominate Malaysian politics. So the Muslim politicians need to make some compromises. Now, if Malaysia was 90% Muslim, you will see something else emerge and all these noble western ideals would be discarded in favour of Islamisation.

I hope now the non-Muslims as well as the Muslims themselves will understand what is currently going on in Egypt plus the many Muslim countries all over the world. And if you can understand that then maybe you can understand what is going to happen in Malaysia in time to come.

If it was a clash of ideologies then it can be surmised to have something to do with the fact that Morsi went overboard in trying to Islamized the largely moderate Egyptians imposing Shia laws despite Islam being the state religion. Egypt was even recognised as a secular country before 1980 before they amended their constitution.
So his downfall is perhaps due to over attempts on imposition of the political Islamic idealogy by the Muslim brotherhood.. Adopting the Islamic political system as a force and in governing the way of life can also be a double edged sword even in an Islamic state where 80-90% of the population are muslims..when the people are not prepared to accept it... More so in a nation like Malaysia.. .
Then again it may even have lead to the sentiment that Morsi has betrayed the Egyptian revolution.
Worsening safety for women, breakdowns in the rule of law, crackdowns on cultural activity and police abuse - the Arab Spring wasn't meant to end like this.

 Islamists use whatever means to use their religious tenets to dominate and social control not only their own kind but the rest of the society who may not be Muslims. Domination and  Jihad seems entrenched in their psyche. Morsi was slyly trying to convert Egypt into a pure Muslim country and the general public rebelled and disposed of him. He should have reinforced secularism and allow each faith and community to move along side by side.

Religo-state is not like any other ideas of governance – there is a limit to questioning because ultimately its based on faith – not real Because there is ultimately no questioning at some point of religo-governance, its almost a one-way street or the very least, turning back at the very least is devastating.

Keep flies and insects at bay..A tip !

Zip-lock water bags: #1 Says:I tried the zip lock bag and pennies this weekend. I have a horse trailer. The flies were bad while I was camping. I put the baggies with pennies above the door of the LQ. NOT ONE FLY came in the trailer.The horse trailer part had many. Not sure why it works but it does!

#2 Says:Fill a zip lock bag with water and 5 or 6 pennies and hang it in the problem area. In my case it was a particular window in my home. It had a slight passage way for insects. Every since I have done that, it has kept flies and wasps away. Some say that wasps and flies mistake the bag for some other insect nest and are threatened.

#3 Says:I swear by the plastic bag of water trick. I have them on porch and basement. We saw these in Northeast Mo. at an Amish grocery store& have used them since. They say it works because a fly sees a reflection& won't come around.

#4 Says:Regarding the science behind zip log bags of water? My research found that the millions of molecules of water presents its own prism effect and given that flies have a lot of eyes, to them it's like a zillion disco balls reflecting light, colors and movement in a dizzying manner. When you figure that flies are prey for many other bugs, animals, birds, etc., they simply won't take the risk of being around that much perceived action. I moved to a rural area and thought these "hillbillies" were just yanking my city boy chain but I tried it and it worked immediately! We went from hundreds of flies to seeing the occasional one, but he didn't hang around long.

Thought his name was Taib.!!

This fat jungle man must be either named Bee Ann or maybe it is Taib..I know for a fact these guys who are Much Too  Fat and really need to go on a diet..or they risk choking on their food fed by unclear origins and contaminated sources !

An obese orang utan has been put on a strict diet by Malaysian wildlife authorities after two decades of gorging on junk food handed out by tourists, a report said today.

Jackie reportedly weighs 100 kilograms (16 stone), twice the normal weight of an adult female in the rich jungle habitats of Borneo island.

The 22-year-old ape was relocated more than three months ago by the wildlife department in the state of Sabah - which lies in the northeast of Borneo - because visitors to the Poring forestry park kept feeding her

Najib speaks on BBC interview!

Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak has said that he will honour a pledge to abolish the sedition act following a hotly contested election in May.

"We will amend the act but we want to keep Malaysia peaceful and harmonious," Mr Najib told BBC World News.

He said that the law was only used against those who undermined stability.

Mr Najib had promised to repeal the sedition law last year along with other security legislation that dates from the British colonial era.

The Malaysian opposition says that the prime minister has used the sedition law to make needless arrests. It says the continuing delay in repealing it proves that Mr Najib is not an "honourable man".

“For my current term, I will focus on accelerating the process of transforming Malaysia,” Najib told the Financial Times in a London interview yesterday. “We have been given the mandate to ensure the GTP and ETP are fully implemented.”

“I want to prove the point that we can make changes from within. We can transform the government and the economy, as well as democracy in Malaysia,” Najib said in the interview.

Najib acknowledged an “unhealthy social polarisation” in the country.

 “The way forward for Malaysia is a set of policies that can be accepted by all Malaysians, and be fair to all,” Najib added.

“If a set of policies satisfies one community but not another, then we will never achieve national consensus.

Malaysia needs to maintain an annual growth of about 6 per cent in order to achieve this target, and has so far remained close to the target.

Of greater concern is the mounting debt levels, both public and private, that could derail the progress.
