Tyranny of fate! A poem.

There are times when

                                     recklessness rule your ways

   and you  have but only lofty thoughts

                                                                 To ennoble your days

  Unable  to restrain, the blow shall fall

                                                                and you are forced to yield

    to the trampling march

                                      of unconscious power

                                                                          overwhelmed

                                   you find yourself

                                                                a slave

                                                                             of the inexorable  fate

      And as the wanton tyranny

                                                    of the empire of chance

                            rules your life

                                                       You feel meek and powerless

                            To defy

                                           as the omnipotent force rolls by

                                                                                       relentless and blind

But fate is also mere chance,subscribe to the point of view that in the end things are collection of random events some started but left to play out on its own .

Is there a god or a being above the physical realm that dictates events.Will we ever know?
